You won't be sorry. I have the first generation of 12" PowerBook and love it. Light, very portable, and powerful. Congratulations! Make sure someone teaches you the secret Mac handshake

i've had mine 2 days after the revision c came out. sweetest thing i've ever put my hands on .. (although i know a few girls who'd beg to differ) .. it never crashes .. great battery life, very nice size (12), sweet keyboard, and stylish! ... very nice ...

Ditto to all of the above comments. I've had my 12"/Superdrive for 1 month now. Absolutely no shortcomings so far.

Yes, these PB's rock. Try finding a PC laptop that has all the built in features these machines have ... not a chance.
I continue to be impressed by the fact that everything is in here, and the PB's are so slim/thin. It's amazing they can get everything in there. Plus, it is the quietest machine I have ever worked on, I don't hear it, ever. And most important, as mentioned by other posters, it doesn't crash. I've had mine on for about 20 days now, try doing that with a PC ... OSX is the best OS i've over worked on.

i've had my powerbook 12 inch wbto 80 gig drive for over a month. I've been editing a documentary project on it and cannot believe the capabilities of this machine and final cut pro combination. even with a small screen i am able to work everywhere i choose w/ real time efx. congratulations on the new pwerbook!

ironically i'm listening to a lot of old time radio on this space age machine as well as BBC Radio (http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/)all over my house using the wireless capability. my whole family gains from this cultural phenomenon. Thank goodness I don't have to listen to American radio in it's present commercialized conundrum.
(all owned by a few BIG boring companies)
listen to the Greatest American Radio shows of all time-FRee

Congratulations and welcome to the family. You won't be disappointed in your little, awesome machine. I had a revision B 12incher and loved the thing. I sold it to my cousin (who is now an official switcher, I might add), and purchased a new 15 inch, 1.5 ghz machine; I wanted the extra screen real estate. Man, I'm in love.

Congratulations.

Ive been using Mac since 99 and have been pleased since then. You'll find some frustrating times with little quirks- a no-name company only make a CD that runs on a PC blah blah - but dont give up there are alot of ways around it. Plus usually colleges are alot more Mac friendly than the business world.

Congrats! Welcome to the club! I hope you have deep pockets - you know a Cinema Display and iPod will soon be on your desk as well.

You are powerless to resist....
