I'm baffled. I'm speechless. And I've lost respect for an actor that I used to enjoy a lot.

The sheer amateurism of it all is... weird.

It's an ad about nothing!
I know, but it lacks taste, professionalism, etc. I'm not even criticizing MS at this point, I guess and criticizing the producers/directors and actors of the ad.

But hey, to each his own, I suppose...

Really enjoying these ads! Good on them for doing things so unexpectedly, and really quite happily making fun of themselves. The Jerry and Bill combo is working for me, looking forward to number three. A bit miffed by the hating all around the web.

I'm not sure what you mean about the word "every".

And the word "we" is moot.

I wonder whether the joke Jerry made about him getting caught in his own traffic is gonna cause even more backlash. It feels like an "In case you weren't aware; I am incredibly rich" comment, yet I see that it is meant to be a jab at himself for being that far removed from most people.

I thought that was the only good line in the commercial.

I think it's the only good line too. The delivery just doesn't mask the snobby overtones that come to me.

advertisement |ˈadvərˌtīzmənt; ədˈvərtiz-|
noun
a notice or announcement in a public medium promoting a product, service, or event or publicizing a job vacancy :

I am not sure how this is even an ad - what does it promote? I am not sure how this makes anyone want to buy a MS product.

Not a fan of MTV Cribs, I take it.

kind of creepy, yet self-mocking so it can't all be bad.

I'm just glad bill didn't do a butt wiggle in this one. :vomit:

The only bit that I found amusing was the grandma, or house keeper, whatever she was.

Yeah? I'm not buying Leo's take on deconstructing these ads. They are what they are.

Thank goodness their bailing out before they do any more damage to their image...

I hope Jerry was paid up-front.
