Overreaction on the part of the theatre? How many shootings occur in theatres yearly and how many of those are blamed on the films being shown at the time? I'm no rap fan but come on people...

Linky
people ruin everything....

Cubeoid's Rap Culture

Yo Yo Cubeoid coming at ya
Remove all fruit from your window
Cubeoid coming at ya
Rap culture from the heart of Cubeoidya
Yo. I'm Cubeoid, the rap culture fiend.
Destroying all enemies in sight
with my tanks and guns,
Yo Cubeoid, the one with the rhymez
So give me your dimes, as I keep
rocking. Yo.

I do everything that rap lyrics tell me to do.

The first time I heard "Ice Ice Baby", I put some ice cubes around this baby I found.

Rap "culture" is nothing but violence and hate.

"Undercover officers were expected to attend some of the film’s screenings in an attempt to keep the peace..."

Now - I may be wrong here.. but wouldn't it make more sense to use "uniformed" officers since you're simply trying to keep peace??? Don't you typically use undercover officers when you have a target/suspect (usually someone who will continue to terrorize the public) and you want to make sure you captures these folks?

Unless its so out of hand, these cops would be targets just for being there. But if that's the case, it has nothing to do with the movie then.

The presence of uniformed officers may cause worse reactions.

A few theaters around here refuse to show the 50¢ movie because it attracts the wrong crowd.

I'm no racist, but living in an area with tons of low-income housing and drug use really makes me sick to my stomach everytime I see a young kid yelling and swearing at the top of his lungs, ghetto-ified, making a huge scene and thinking its cool. They make a mockery of themselves.

Violent, ignorant, angry and looking for some way to vent it. In some ways I pity them, most I've known personally had awful childhoods, crappy parents, even crappier neighborhoods to grow up in. With such a bad hand to be dealt its no wonder how then turn out....then they have kids at a young age and the cycle repeats...

We just need to come up with a drug that instantly kills when someone plays 50 cent in close proximity.

I don't mind some 50¢, good party music. Enjoy it on a "novelty" level, but still enjoy it.

The ghetto culture, however, can lick my sweaty nutsack.

When your life starts out real low it tends to stay that way, or did you forget that you had it easy?
