I'd punch Marilyn Manson for cheating on his wife. I just can't believe some people. They have it so good and the throw it all away.

Wait, wait. Can I line them up in a row? I'd like my punch to ricochet and hit Hue Grant for cheating on Elizabeth Hurley with some hooker.

I can't think of anyone worth the energy.

But I'd certainly like to pimp slap the husband & wife from the King of Queens (don't even know their names).
These two annoy the living crap out of me with their dumbness.

Another vote for Tom Cruise. Can't we all just agree he hasn't been the movie-blockbuster-king since the arrival of Will Smith on the scene and stop going to his movies.

And how about every Hollywood celeb who advocates for some social or political cause on which they aren't really qualified to talk*.
Ellen DeGeneres or George Takei talking about gay marriage: Qualified
Michael J. Fox talking about medical research: Qualified (because he has done his homework and really knows the subject, at least as it relates to his disease)
Matt Damon, Michael Moore, or Sean Penn talking about politics: Un-qualified
Everybody who talks about global warming but does nothing to change their lifestyle to reduce their carbon-footprint: Un-qualified
(I think Ed Begley, Jr. and Leonardo DiCaprio are two exceptions to this rule.)

*I don't mean to suggest they can't have opinions. But too many of them think their opinions carry some weight with the public simply because they are a celebrity and that rankles me.
One should never stop striving for clarity of thought and precision of expression.
I would prefer my humanity sullied with the tarnish of science rather than the gloss of religion.

Dakota Fanning.

Really though, Amanda Tapping (Stargate SG1). She's so friggin wholesome and she's always saying "sir" "sir" "sir" and she stutters as an acting device. Just POW, right to the moon.

Is this only showbiz-type celebrities? Actors, models etc? If so Alec Baldwin or Matt Damon, hard to choose between them. Britney really deserves a slap or ten as well.

As for politicians, I quite fancy punching Tony Blair. Over and over again.

Steve Balmer would be fun as well.

Limiting oneself to punching only ONE celebrity ... its just unfair.

Whoopi Goldberg. Just because of her completely stupid comment about if McCain were to be President, would she have to worry about becoming a slave again... That would get her numerous punches.

And Jim Rome the sports guy. Annoying annoying annoying.

You said that well. I agree.

That was who I was thinking of from the start, but didn't want to sway the comments by starting with him.

It used to be Alec Baldwin, but I (grudgingly) have a small amount of respect for him now.

Now I simply want to slap some sense into Brittany Spears.

Whoopi snorted too much coke during her early years, then she compounded it with too much hash when in Star Trek. She's probably on some fashionable drug at the moment, so forgive her.

Well, after slapping her that is.

She was making a joke when McCain said something about he would interpret the constitution literally or something.

It wasn't a serious comment. It was a way to point out that maybe the constitution isn't always perfect.

http://www.newsbusters.org/blogs/jus...ng-slave-again

She said it right to his face. It wasn't a serious comment.

So... ...if my butler could punch a celebrity, I'd get him to punch:

Cash Warren - for stealing my girl.
Madonna - for being a hypocritical bag.
Peter Tatchell - for being shouty and annoying.
Macaulay Culkin - for stealing my other girl.
Justin Timberlake - for singing like a girl.
Al Gore - because he's just got that kind of face, y'know.
Radiohead.
Clare Short - for offences against breast-loving men everywhere.
Been inclined to wander... off the beaten track.

I can't choose between Phil Collins or Chris DeBurgh. I just can't

I also hold a grudge well. Neither of these have bothered the "celeb" lists for years but their crimes are just too great to forgive. Ever

No wait, Lady in Red, just ran through my brain for the first time in years. Choice made. No wait, now I can hear In the air tonight. aaargh!!!

She did, but to put things into context McCain was saying that he wants to be a strict constitutionist (or whatever that word is) while on the View, and Golberg said this in order to point out that the constitution is a living document, not the bible.
