If you haven't seen this over in America, you should watch it. It is good. It's being shown in 5 parts on the Monday to Friday before the 31st, then as a 2 1/2 hour film on Halloween night. Basic story is of a zombie outbreak in the UK, but the contestants in the Big Brother house are sealed off from it. Written by Charlie Brooker. Yes this is very advance notice, but it's worth it .

It'll be much easier if you just comply.

Anyone else as tired of zombie things as I am. Actually, I never did see the appeal in the first place.

Now, if we were talking mutant monkey pirates, that's a whole 'nother story.

this was probably a hit out there because Big Brother is popular in the UK. I am not even sure if people here in the US even pay attention to that show any more. Even with the zombie tie in I doubt premise is going to appeal to many viewers over here.

Personally between the backdrop and annoying accents I don't think its going to generate much enthusiasm

I hope they send Max Brooks a check for the idea every time it runs. He had a similar scenario (with famous people in the house) in WWZ.

I'm tired of the zombie stuff too, because it's trended to crap. The Renaissance of zombies was both of Max Brooks' books, and the WWZ movie moved too slow to hit the peak - it will probably suck bad now. But I think WWZ was the high point, maybe "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies." But it's going backward fast.
