You try getting away with that without Warren Buffet wealth and influence. What a scoundrel. Oh oh oh, and regarding his image of being down to earth, "getting his own coffee" and living modestly, that's an image he peddles to the public. He claims to live very modestly. Camera crews get access to him at a modest office and modest house. They don't get to see the palatial estates he owns, where he lives most of the time. It's fine and good he has palaces, but he doesn't show them off because it would defeat the quaint, humble image he tries to sell of himself.
Are you suggesting there's something wrong with how Buffet acquired his wealth?

To be frank, considering your behavior, I don't see why anyone responds to anything you have to say around here.

On the contrary, this board is filled with cowards who can't answer a single, straightforward question that I've asked multiple times without any reply. EDIT: though Big Mac provided a lame answer, which no one actually believes.

Any defence of the tax breaks for capital gains is morally bankrupt.

I also asked for a simple citation to support the notion that conservatives are more generous than liberals. All I got was a dodge.

EDIT: you waste an awful lot of time telling everyone not to talk to me. In one page, you ask why anyone talks to the Socialist Canadian about the US taxes, and here you moan about "my behaviour." The fact is, I bring substance, you bring whining. In this thread alone, you made three snarky comments and one half-assed complaint about federal spending. If you don't want to participate in the discussion, why are you here?

I'm sure you're resourceful enough that if you really thought I was wrong, you'd have produced something to the contrary. Trust me.

Any advocate of pushing more resource through the sieve is clinically insane. Sympathizing with the incredibly poor stewardship of this resource is intellectually and morally bankrupt.

Why do you hate the mega rich?

You socialist commie who is wagging class warfare by attacking the rich.
Bush Tax Cuts == Job Killer
June 2001: 132,047,000 employed
June 2003: 129,839,000 employed
2.21 million jobs were LOST after 2 years of Bush Tax Cuts.

I just think you're rude and generally unpleasant to deal with. Why you're this way, I have no idea. Thing is, you don't have to be an asshole or so aggressive, it makes people not want to have meaningful conversations with you. It hasn't always been this bad, and it's gotten worse of late. Maybe take a few breaths and think about why you're behaving this way and possibly try being more respectful of others? My 3ยข.
