OS X uses first volume as path "/", and Finder shows Applications, Library, System and Users Folders in the first volume.

Is there any way (not symbolic link or alias) I could assign another volume's folder as Users Folder (and system recognizes it as Users Folder), which all users' (no matter the existent or later added ones) home can be stored there. And it would looks this like in Finder: first volume shows only Applications, Library, and System Folders, another volume shows only Users Folders.

In short, I wish User Templete can be applied into other folder rather then "/Users".

Some ppl says, using NetInfo Manager can set Users' home directory to another folder. But this can make my last wish comes true, is that right?

Changing a User's home directory using NetInfo is easy: just open up NetInfo Manager, navigate to users > username, then change the home key to another path. I'm not too sure if you can change the default location of the User's folder however; it may well be hard-coded as the default location in the Accounts pref pane.
