A question for Dual G4 1.42 or any 2003 MDD owners: What CD/DVD's did your Powermac ship with?

I have here a demo/open box Dual G4 1.42 and from CompUSA. They packed it up with a single software restore DVD. Shouldn't there at least be a Hardware Test CD as well?

thanks in advance,

rhogue

The Hardware Test is on that DVD.

Have a look at the writing on the disc and it tells you how to start it.

You mean I have to go look? hehe

I should have though to take a closer look at it

So that's all they packed with it? Was there any free DVDr or CDr media as well?

Well I've looked and even booted from the single DVD and there are no instructions or options for running hardware tests.

Did these machines not ship with a Hardware Test CD?

I know that on my single DVD that came with my G5, you hold down option when starting (with the DVD in), and that shows you the hardware test option. Try that.

This is what I got with my Dual 1.25 MDD

Disc 1 (691-4344-A)
Power Mac G4
Software Install and Restore

Disc 2 (691-4388-A)
Apple Hardware Test

------

On a related note, was Omni Graffle part of Disc 1 on the FW 800 models?
