Hey all,

I think my 1st gen. iPod is very broken. When I plug it into my computer, my computer doesn't see it and the iPod shows a picture of a sick iPod with an "attention" sign next to it.

Is there anyway to fix this? Software restore can't be performed because the computer doesn't recognize that the iPod is plugged in.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
greg
