In spite of the two companies settling a lawsuit over noise cancellation patents, Apple has gone ahead and removed Bose headphones and speakers from its online store, visitors note. Rumors surfaced a week ago that Apple was planning to remove Bose products from its stores. Why it would want to was uncertain, but one point of speculation was animosity because of the lawsuit.
The companies could still be at odds, particularly since Bose sponsorship of the NFL has led to players being banned from wearing Beats products (and any other brand of headphone) on-camera. Another factor could be Apple's desire to reduce competition for Beats. That theory, however, is contradicted by the remaining presence of many non-Beats audio brands at Apple Stores.

BOSE is the worlds largest Audio company. I would be surprised if Apple wasn't making money as a authorized reseller.

There are a variety of reasons why this is happening -- from a business disagreement a la Amazon to simply the end of a contract to sell Bose in Apple stores that has no animosity or politics behind it at all. Difficult to know, but I think we can rule out the Beats lawsuit as a cause.

Bose has been over-hyping their inferior products for decades. Their business ethics are the polar opposite of Apple's. The only surprise to me is that it took so long for the two companies to part ways.
