i just cracked open the postage box they sent, and saw the black MacBook on it. Immediately knew it was the wrong colour.

I think my local mac reseller got confused, as i wanted the white one, but with a 80ghd, and 1gig ram.

it does look very nice, but its still $200 more. i think i will take it into the store and get it replaced.

its a shame though, i been waiting for nearly 2 weeks, only to get the wrong colour. ahhhhhh.

Did they charge you for a black one or a white one? If not then count it as a nice bonus!

It wasn't Computers Now by any chance? A friend ordered an iBook G4 from them and they delivered a 15" Powerbook...
MBP 2.16ghz 15"
iMac G5 1.6Ghz 17"
Powermac 7200/120

That's only assuming he actually likes the black one.

Bummer man,

Funny a lot of people are drooling over the black ones and here you are wanting a white one.

I chose the white one purely from an econmic perspective. I did not want to spend an extra 200 dollars just for the color. When I purchased mine, discussions were raging that it was painted and it would flake off, now that has since been debunked but I'm still content with my white one, but I'm in the camp of people who think the black MB is cool. If I had the spare cash I would have upgraded.

If the MB has everything you want in it, and you don't want to wait any longer then perhaps you should think about keeping it.

nah they sent an invoice for the black one. so no freebie. and it did come with the 1 gig ram.

it was computers now, clarendon street (to be exact).

the black looks nice, but as said before, its $200 more. also i think it looks more like a PC. but i'll think about it. i havent see a white one yet, so i might not like it. but i probably will
