we use a HP color laser jet 200 m251nw. It's nice, and 4 years old. We had some problems with it that we solved through changing the toner (some part of it had come out of the box, the actual toner box I mean, so the toner was damaged, apparently).

However, the printer still has some troubles, it sometimes prints red lines on the pages. Any way to change that? Still a toner problem? I updated the firmware and drivers etc., and the problem is new, but somehow...

Have you run the HP Printer Utility and run the cleaning process?

if the cleaning utility won't do it, you may have to open it up and use a qtip with rubbing alcohol to try to clean the rollers, etc. I did this with my canon.

also be wary of some 3rd party ink replacements.
