Hi all,

I posted in here a few weeks back that my mom was having issues with her G4 Mac after getting Hughes Internet installed. She got a kernel panic (which she'd never seen before) and was worried, so I told her not to freak out unless it kept happening, well, it's still happening. I got her to write down what appeared on the screen. She did her best, here's what it said:

CPU=0; code=0000008 (Unaligned sl...) can't read this, sorry
Latest crash info for CPU0:

If anyone can make any sense of this and tell us what you think is happening, I'd be very grateful. She's running 10.4.11 on a G4 Mac Tower (I THINK it's a MDD 1.0ghz). It had been running flawlessly for months until a couple weeks ago when she had the satellite internet service installed. Anyway, any help you can give would be great, thanks.

The above info isn't enough for me to guess a reason.

If the system will boot, you can access the full log of the KP using Console.app (/Applications/Utilities/Console.app). Under 10.4 the log is stored at /Library/Logs/panic.log (under 10.5 the logs are at /Library/Logs/PanicReporter/xxxx.panic).

It would help if you (or she) could post the last few panics.
