Poll... boring, I know... but it could be interesting.

The last post I made got me thinking

Myself, divine (right handed).

Not all of us are drunk.

I'm up at 3:00am because I have the flu and I'm dying.

Anyone else like the show 'Cheaters' ? interesting concept. Somebody will get capped sooner or later...I see it coming.

ChaChi - I don't know. That depends on whether you are. But am I? Quite probably.

TN - flu is suckage... dying? Damn... that sucks even more...

11011001 - close enough
I get less cynical when I'm drunk. It's a shame. Sorta.

Well, in a feeble attempt to get back on topic, mark me down in the Sinister column.

I propose that in this thread, all OT posts must be prefaced by your orientation (in the matter referred to above).

ChaChi - its 7.50 pm now... dunno what time it was before... but I just had to go and buy a train ticket

And BTW - yes I am

10000% divine. I know secrets of the universe that nobody else knows.

BTW, the other night I dreamt I was Jesus on the cross, actually looking from his eyes, and a woman came and removed me from the cross. At that moment she took me in her arms the wounds and blood on my hands just vanishes and I was healed. What does that mean? Any dream specialists here?

I'd try to interpret it, but it would have something to do with werewolves so I'd better refrain.

You will have seven sons, all of them will become eunuchs. One of them will eventually be killed by the other 6, at which point you will have 6. And then a burning bush will tell you to lead his people to freedom, and will give you his TiBook staff. You will cry to Bill Gates, let my people go, and he will reply "No, I will not let your people go." You will cry this again, and he will way "No, I will not let your people go." This will go on for exactly 3 and 3/4 minutes, at which point you will say, "fine". At which point you will raise your TiStaff to the heavens and bring down a swarm of viri to consume Winblow user's OSs.

You will ask Bill if you and your people can go now, he will say "Ummm, errr, arrr, no matey."

So you will then simply raise your TiStaff to the sky, and whack him on the head, and run. OOOoo, and then cause fire balls to fall from the sky, because you can and cus it looks cool.

Then you will bring all the mac users to Silicon Valley, with Bill and his army on your tail. Of course there is a sea you have to cross, and so you part it, and then Bill sees what is coming, and flys over it to the other side, and you cross it, and you whack him on the head again.

And then you build a giant floating Utopian City for all the apple users in the world, and hover around the world dumping your sewage onto the sorrounding landscape.

^ Really, really tired now, maybe I should sleep before I say something stupid. Whoops, kinda late for that.

Hmm. I must be divine because I had a dream the other night where I met Jesus.

I was waiting at the bus stop to go home after work. As it came down the street toward me, I could see that the bus was glowing slightly. I got on and sat down next to a funny-dressed guy. I figured he must be going to a toga party, but then I realized it was Jesus.
"Holy sh*t, you're Jesus!" I said. He seemed to glow brighter as he replied,
"Yep, that's me."
There was an awkward silence.
To break the ice I inquired, "So, how's it going?"
"Oh, can't complain."
"Me too." Silence. "How 'bout that Enron?"
"I don't really get it."
"Yeah, me neither. Just too busy to pay attention."
"I've been keeping up on the whole Napster thing, though."
"Oh yeah? You into that stuff?"
"Yeah, my dad got me a computer recently. I was like, 'How can you bring about the apocalypse via Y2K when you can't even figure out how to use a computer?' "
"Good point, there."
"That's what I thought. But then he said he didn't have time for that, so he'd get me one and I'd show him how to use it. But he was too cheap to shell out for anything better than an iPaq."
"Oh, shafted."
"Yeah, so I'm looking to get an iBook. I'd get one of those titanium dealies, but it's just too expensive for my needs. Not even Satan keeps up with the latest and greatest. He's still got a P3 with Windows 98."
"Ah. Well, the iBook is pretty popular. It's a good machine. I have a TiBook, myself."
"Oh yeah? With the combo drive?"
"No, I was an early adopter."
"That's too bad."
"Nah, I got the internal DVD and a nice external Firewire burner."
"Firewire... is that that IEE-something-something stuff?"
"Yeah."
"Sweet." Silence. "Do you think you could burn me Busta Rhymes's newest album?"
"Sure."
"Thanks, man. So, see you here again tomorrow?"
"Tomorrow's Saturday."
"Oh, yeah."

And then I woke up.

Right handers are divine? Dang. Myself, I'm a left handed, sinister, demon seed.

I was born sinister, but the enlightened child-rearing practices of my parental unit forced me to use my divine hand, so now I'm totally confused and have to stop to think about which hand I'm going to use for everything I do.

Ah, manicheeism.

I'd rather prefer the Greek adjective polutropon.

So who's going to see the re-make of "The Time Machine"
If just to see a shot of the tree with the (formerly) longest unsupported horizontal branch in the world. And good ol' Matty Huntington is supposed to be in the opening shot.
