Hi there,
I want to re-create Siri's voice for a project I'm working on. Is there a Siri generator or a text to speech app that would allow me to type in a phrase and have it output as Siri's voice? I don't need it to be on the iPhone, just a sound file.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Does it have to be exactly Siri?
Have you tried using textEdit? Type in text, go to edit> speech and then record the reading with snapzpro or audio hijack? The mac voices are not exactly Siri but you could use them. Vicki is good.
Or, you could have siri repeat things while you hold iphone up to a speaker and record...

Or you could have Siri repeat things while you have the headphone jack plugged into your computer that is recording line-in.

That's a really good idea. Do I plug that from my headphone jack into the mic jack on the computer?

What gender is Siri where you are?
I believe that in the UK Siri is a man and in Australia a woman.
On my GPS I use an English male voice as the Australian and US voices (male and female) are like fingernails down the black board.
Would be good if you could choose the voice of Siri.

Siri is female, low and stupid. I'm in the US. Stupid because it doesn't work. Just asked it about the nearest Italian restaurant to me, nothing. Same when I tried it out last October. I'll try dictation sometime just to see whether that works.
If I could choose a Siri voice, it would be a counter-tenor, the perfect mix of yin and yang.

Hire a female mute with a speech impediment and there you have the American English version of Siri.
imnsho the voice is horrible compared to the other dialects and languages.

Check these two articles
http://www.techmynd.com/enter-text-and-create-voice-text-to-speach-generator/
and
http://www.techmynd.com/text-speech-generator/
You can create voice by using any online text to speech generator. You can even select different people for different voice quality.

I prefer the Australian female voice, but then Siri doesn't understand my Murkin accent.
