I see that iTunes will not always import downloaded mp3 tracks automatically from sites other than the iTunes store, especially LW. Is that intentional on Apples part or just a glitch in the app?
Edit:
I find that some mp3 tracks are not what they seem and could be virus's etc so obviously don't register with iTunes.

You mean you've never noticed that no matter *what* you enter as a search string, you always get at least one file whose name *exactly* matches the search string, .mp3, 5.5 MB in size, at 384kbps?
