These problems occur on multiple systems, using multiple configurations and currently represent a hinderance (minor but noticeable) on a project we need to complete in short order.

The registration program for Snapz Pro dies on launch, rendering it impossible to register the program. We can use 10.1 native screen capture ability to accomplish what we want, but Snapz will do it in less time and in less steps. We bought it yesterday an cannot register it!

In BBEdit, I can no longer use Internet Explorer (either 5.1 in X or 5.o in Classic) to preview documents. Internet Explorer 5.1 will launch, but an error says "Can not find file". I can, however, open the file using an open command once IE is launched. Mozilla and OmniWeb do not seem to be effected.

Has anyone experienced these problems, and if so, have you found a work around? I lobbied for 3 years to get buy in for an ADC membership and our very first seeded release causes problems (to be expected, but I am not looking very good right now).

What did you expect ? This software has only just been released, and the significant changes require that certain 3rd party applications will have to be updated. If you are working under a tight deadline then you shouldn't have gone and installed this on all your development machines !

I'm sorry, but this is a problem of your own making...

Gee...I agree completely...we should have not installed it...we were just so excited to get the mailing! Neither of these problems are crippling, just inconvenient. We won't come anywhere close to missing our targeted comletion date.

Other than these 2 problems (and my manager having problems with the Palm Desktop software), 10.1 seems to be phenomenal. We have only installed it on 3 of 6 work stations and we haven't had any more problems with those running 10.1 than those running 9.2..I have to say, I am very impressed!

I was hoping there might be some easy fixes

My BBEdit Lite doesn't cut/paste anymore, very annoying. See what Barebones Tech support says:

> BBEdit Lite under 10.1 won't let me copy text within a document.

Daniel, thank you for sending this in. This appears to be due to a bug
in BBEdit Lite which was exposed by Mac OS X 10.1. We will address this
in a future release but in the meantime I'm afraid there is not a work
around for this.
