i just bought a .eu of a domain and i'm keeping a lookout for the .com
if i go to the .com it says "... websites down for migration" - its been like that for a while so i was thinking that maybe the owner isnt bothered about using it or something, and so thought he might let it expire - so i put a backorder in for it. (dont want to contact him yet as i'm thinking that might make the price go up - and i dont have a lot of money)
then someone told me that i should backorder with the 'dropcatcher' of the site registrar - would that be the dropcatcher of Tucows? (edited info of the whois for the domain below)
also, i was assuming the registrant is the person who owns the domain, as is the admin contact; and the technical contact and Registration Service Provider were the hosting company - is that right? because they all seem to be the same person - does that mean its a domain dealer/squatter who owns the domain? though if i follow what seems to be the url (derived from the email address given in technical contact and reg service provider) it says "No resources available." (there is also an index of files at the same address when proceeded with 'domains':
http://domains.(...............).com ; and under 'admin contact' theres an email address given at the .com that i'm interested in
if its a domain dealer/squatter does that lower my chances of getting it through backorder? - (the record expiry date is quite far off - does anyone ever cancel their registration to a domain? - i'm guessing not)
thanks for time anyone, hope its not too many questions
