What can I do about it? I think for installing from 10.0.4 I have to instal the security update 10-19-01 and then the 10.1 update. The thing is that the installation of the security update says that I can't install it on my system. So what do I do?

There's always the package hack! (I know, everyone hates that one, but I like it!)

um, if you're going from 10.0.4 to 10.1, you'll have to get the update CD. There is no 10.1 download unless you get the 10.1.x updates after it. Search eBay or get a friend to loan you his copy (considering it was free to begin with, this isn't piracy).

Yeah, what he said.
You don't need the security update to go from 10.0.4 to 10.1. That comes after.

You can't install the Security Update before 10.1. The Security Update REQUIRES 10.1 to be installed first.

My campus store still has some free ones (I think). Hit me up with an email, if they do have any more left I could mail one to ya. ( [email protected])
