Get the Cable Zipper from the Container Store. It looks better and looks more organized.

Here's mine, pretty basic! PowerBook G4 1.33 GHz, and iPod whatever-generation-was-right-before-color-screens. Guess that stuff can almost be considered old now, huh? The hp 4-in-1 saves tons of space...

How can you have your MacBook closed while having that external display? Whenever I try that my MB just goes to sleep

MacBook works closed when you external keyboard and mouse. It goes to sleep when closed, but pressing the keyboards wakes it up.

Thank you, I figured it was something like that but I wasn't sure. I guess I need to get an external keyboard then, having my MacBook open all the time when I have my external display is becoming bothersome.

Indeed, all the Macbooks can run an external display when the lid is closed (as long as there is an external keyboard and mouse attached, and you're running off external power). For more info, when you are in the Finder, click on the Help menu and choose Mac Help. Then search for 'external', the first result it shows will tell you all. Also, everything is in that little physical manual Apple supplied with the Macbook.

I love that phone, care to share the brand/model so I can look it up on eBay?

Ray, go to an image uploader website:

Imageshack
Photobucket
Tinypic, etc. Just click browse, select the file on your desktop through the site, then upload it. When it gives you the different codes, copy and paste the code with the [IMG] into your text, then it will show up when you post.

The phone was painted by me. It was a simple brown plain old telephone. I got it from a garage sale for $2. "ITT" on the back. ITT is the manufacturer.

Just spray paint, then?

Ray, when you get an image code that has been uploaded, you are offered a few different codes:

Examples: <a hrefs
.jpgs
[img]s

This forums supports codes with [img] tags on the ends, post images with these tags.

flippin heck Ray! That piece of kit you have got there looks mighty fine! Oh yeh, I bought some new speakers recently which can be found here. I'm from the UK and they cost me £58, which is about $130. They are truly amazing though, the quality is crisp clear and it can go very loud when you want it to! They'd look really nice next to your ACD screen!.

I've ordered the 20" 2007WFP monitor, I hope its amazing =D. What size is yours? Looks nice btw !

Yeah Andhee dude, sorry to be rude but you need to get that stuff outta here and pronto! This is a Mac picture thread. It's forgiven if you have both a Mac and a PC sitting over in the corner but not that Toshiba by itself. Re-read the forum topic. In fact this whole forum is about Macs.

Kool, and BTW I can see that you are new so, Welcome to the forums. We are nice people here but with 5% marketshare and growing Mac users don't wanna see PC's trying to dominate our forums as we are not at all (in the worst way) welcome on Windows forums. When you get your new Mac you will understand our passion for the Mac OS.

I'm more of a lurker here than an active member, but I've had my CD MacBook since last June or July and after doing some cleaning up, I wanted to get in on this.

First, the TV and stereo, included because there's an iHome iH5 that serves as my alarm clock, plus I can move my iPod universal dock over to it to play a video on the TV (it's a 60GB 5G iPod). In the bottom left you can barely see my STM Evolution Backpack for the MB, also inside it is a maroon Incase neoprene sleeve (maroon.. go HOKIES).

Second, a wide shot of the desk. Underneath is my old WinXP gaming PC that I'm trying to get rid of... I want to get a MBP in a few months. I have a sight unseen Airport Extreme base station (802.11g) hooked to the cable modem, with the printer hooked to the AEBS.

Third, a close up. The slide-out drawer has an Apple bluetooth keyboard... which keyboard I use just depends on my mood. In the upper left of the screen are two copies of the album art widget... I hacked both of them. The one showing art will never show album info, and the one on the bottom will never show art, just the text. I like having an unobstructed view of the album art. But most of the time, for iTunes control, I use Sizzling Keys. The speakers are Klipsch ProMedia Ultra 2.0 (I was sick of having a huge subwoofer).

The monitor is a Dell 2001FP that does 1600x1200 and used to be used for the PC, but now is mainly used as a secondary TV (I have my DirecTV piped over to it via RCA cables, and can also pipe it's audio to the Klipsch speakers) when I'm either watching a DVD on the main TV or playing Wii/X360, so I can keep up with a game or something. I have the mini-DVI to DVI adapter but don't use it much.
