Is it possible to upgrade the Apache software that comes with X or to comletly remove it? I have installed Complete apache 2.0.48 And it seems to me a little unessecary to have two versions.
I use PHP too..

You can remove it if you really want to, but I don't know that it's going to do much good. I think these are the relevant directories and files:
/usr/sbin/apachectl
/usr/sbin/httpd
/usr/share/httpd/
/etc/httpd/
/var/log/httpd/
/usr/libexec/httpd/
/Library/Documentation/Services/apache
