I have no idea what development environment Blizzard uses for WoW (Xcode, hopefully), but at work we're starting to move our projects to Xcode 2.1 and build for MacTel. We don't have our MacTel dev machines yet, but they should be here soon. I'm curious if Blizzard's taking the intiative and working on a MacTel version.

They had WoW up an running on a Macintel at the end of the WWDC. The game wasn't playable per se but it would compile and actually display the title screen.

Nice. I'm way ahead of myself here, but I'm just making sure the MacTel machine I buy next year works with the stuff that's important .

We had it running at the login screen on Tuesday night at WWDC Network authentication issues prevented us from moving any further with it at the time. We have an Intel developer unit at Blizzard HQ now and are making progress again.

We are working on an official Intel support statement so I will leave it at that for now.

Very nice indeed! Our Intel unit hasn't arrived yet. I'm itching to get my hands on it.
