Ha! I hope this isn't old news, so if it is I'm sorry. But I was just watching Monsters, Inc. on my Powerbook and I caught something I hadn't before. There's an Apple ad in the movie! Towards the end, where Mike is gloating over being on the cover of a magazine, he holds up the magazine, and on the back is an Apple Computer ad (1:23:16 into the movie).

It shows some cartoonish-looking computer (no...not the iMac ), some text that looks like it says "Introducing the new..." (can't make out the rest), and at the bottom of the page, the Apple logo and the words "Scare Different" can easily be made out. Very cool. It makes me wonder if there's any other Apple product placement in any of the other Pixar movies.

not going to be able to until i get a 3rd party screen capture program. the windows one via the Prt Scr button coninously updates your screen caputer with the dvd, even in mulitple captures, saved in multiple formats, opened in multiple programs and then screenshot'd from there. turn the dvd off or try to uplaod them and they all go black. pisses me off, but kinda of impressive to see though.

Heh, yeah I noticed that when I first watched my DVD. It's only a split second though.

I screen captured (third-party utility from Versiontracker), opened in Photoshop, did a little adjusting and perspective changes. Here's the ad:
