I got caught making fake ID's once... Police took me in for questioning (called me on the phone and asked me to come down, not like they cuffed and stuffed me), my buddy had already rolled on me, so I cooperated fully.

Nobody ever pressed any charges.
Go Figure.

When I was in high school, my buddies and I were cruising our town's main street one night ... I was driving my parents' big ol' 1968 Chrysler. Anyhow, one of the idiots in the back seat had a bunch of water balloons, which he decided to start hurling at passing motorists. Yep, you guessed it: the very first one hit a passing cop car square on the windshield!

In a matter of seconds, we were pulled over, and the cop had us outside, leaning against the hood of the Chrysler. Luckily, he didn't call our parents or take us in ... he just had us smash the remaining water balloons over each other's heads. So my biggest problem was trying to sneak in the house, soaking wet, without my Dad seeing me.

Of course the other kids who were cruising that night saw us get pulled over ... so we were folk heroes at school the next morning. My fifteen minutes of fame, I guess.

Speeding tickets, in large quantities. Gravity seems to be greater inside my truck causing an adverse reaction pulling my foot to the floor. It is a true mystery. Also, I almost got arrested once for running around at 5 am in full camo trying to shoot some girl with a watergun. Apparently that kind of thing isn't funny a week after columbine...

Remember: The only crime is being caught.

For example: most cities have no laws against driving under the influence... But they all have a law against being caught behind the wheel under the influence.

Lets see...arrested for driving on a suspended license once. handcuffed, taken to the police station holding cell but released later to the custody of my Not Happy Wife. I plead no contest.

Ten years later, I got caught again for the same offense. I wasn't handcuffed but this time I got a lawyer and found out that is actually really hard for the state to convict someone for this crime so I threatened to take it to trial. They agreed to drop the charges if I paid $250 in court fees. Deal.

I've been a good boy since.

I've had my fair share of "nearly incarcerated" experiences but so far I'm still a free man. As for the exact details of all those experiences I plead the fifth

Sort of, and spent the night in a cell.

Glanced at the wrong person walking home after a night out; got head-butted and then had my head bounced off the road a few times before an unmarked police car arrested him and took me to hospital. Luckily the headbutt had knocked me out so I never felt the road.

He claimed that it was a mutual fight and I was arrested too, spent the night in a cell before making my statement. I had witnesses who heard me decline the invitation to a fight, and it turned out he was a drug addict with supporting petty theft habit. I was released without charge and he pleaded guilty to grevious boldily harm. It went to court and he again claimed I'd wanted a fight, but by the time of the hearing he was inside for something else and witnesses backed me up.

It was an experience...

A cop saw a friend and I passing a joint around. He took the joint away, dropped it into a sewer, warned us, and left. I'm damn lucky we weren't searched, because I had about 5 grams chillin in my jacket pocket. I almost definitely would've been arrested for that.

I've done many other illegal things, but never got caught for any of them. Nothing serious though.

I've been cuffed before.

Story starts out me and the girlfriend at the time were driving home after the bars shut down. I get escorted back to the cop car and given a battery of DUI tests. They decided I'd had to much to drink and they were going to take me in. Had to get out of the car, hands on the hood for a pat down. Hands out front for the cuffs. As they were putting them on, I looked over at my girlfriend who had this freaked out look on her face. She said later that she was freaking seeing me get cuffed, but relaxed when I looked at her and grinned

See, I'm a life-experience junky and this was a totally new experience for me. Sure, it was gonna cost me, but didn't mean I couldn't enjoy the experience.

So anyway, now I'm cuffed, placed in the back of the cop car. They leave me alone to make sure my girlfriend has a ride home (by this time my brother has realized I've come up missing and tracked us down). While I'm sitting, I start inspecting my new wrist accessories. Then I start fidgeting with them, realizing they're pretty loose. Hmmm....loose enough that I slip my hands out of them! I spin the locking piece around and put them back on as loose as they go (one click).

And then we're on our way to the hospital for a blood test. As we're driving along, I get inquisitive (having never sat in the back of a cop car before) and start asking all sorts of questions. What's this, what's that etc. Then I pause for a second and say, "Hey, I got another question." "What's that," says the cop. "Is this glass (divider glass between the front and back of the car) bulletproof?" His response? "Um...I guess I really don't know." (I think that would be a little bit of trivia I'd want to know as a cop).

Well, while all this is going on, I'm slipping my cuffs on and off just messing with them. When we get to the hospital, I have to be careful so they don't slip off of me. Then we head down to the cop-shop. Here I get fingerprinted, mug shot taken then sat on this bench with a couple of other DUI captives waiting for their rides to come get them (while I'm sitting there, they bring in this one guy whose obviously been crying. "My wife's gonna kill me," he says).

My brother finally shows up to collect me, and a cop comes over, tells me to get up and he'll get the cuffs off and I can go. So, I stand up, slip them off, and hand them back to him while he's still digging for the key He's got this perplexed look on his face, says, "Umm..thanks." And I'm free!

sitting in my pickup truck at a parking lot. waiting for the hook-up. smooth hookup. homeboy riding shotgun counting the loot. truck in reverse. felt cold steel against my left temple. don't much matter who it was. i was their bitch for the time being. hoped it was the cops, tho. might live thru it that way. hit the gas and die she said. show me your hands. homeboy had some cold steel of his own. cold enough he wet himself, i reckon. funny the things you notice when you might gonna be dying shortly. felt relieved when i heard a walkie talkie. thugs don't use those thing. pulled thru window while truck still in reverse. watched said truck strike shopping cart return corral. didnt wanna die reaching for the shift lever.

no big deal that time. probation and a lot of weekends in jail.

homeboy wet himself. i still laugh about that.

Never (so far and I'm just 23). Once in awhile, I drive over the speed limit by 15 or 20mph on the highway..coz a long drive back home (250miles). Never got caught... I saw cops anyway as well as others pull-over. In Hong Kong, you have 15 points. If they deduct all 15 pts.. you will supend for diving.

I do "stuff" on the Net.. yea.. those kind of "stuff" (think about it).

Who love to run away from the law here? I wonder.

Kind of want to get arrested once (any ideas on a good way to?)

I pay taxes for this fvcking judicial system... and never get my moneys worth.

I think everyone has the right/duty as an American to get arrested during their life, and ensure that it works, and they get their money's worth.

Once I got arrested for "sleeping while under the influence". Apparently my sleeping was completly out of control so I need to be arrested. Who knows how many people I would have slept on if they didn't stop me!

I've been there seven times. I suggest you try it. But you might want to save a up a little cash first. See... you don't get to use the system for free.

Gotta get an attorney unless you want 15 years for molesting a dead horse. And when you're found guilty of whatever you've done (trust me, you'll be found guilty) you'll probably have to pay "court fees". Oh, and most employers don't pay for court days. You'll probably have to pay for the lunch that your attorney takes the assistant DA to. "Negotiation fees" and all. **** adds up quick.

No thank you, I think I'll pass on that experience! Being on a jury is close enough to see how our judicial system works.

I've been in a couple of accidents, not arrested or given a ticket.
I got one ticket for wreckless diving when I was 18. Working at a funeral home, the funeral director kept after me via the radio. "You have to get to the cemetary befor we get there." It made me very nervous and I accidentally went right through a red light. Luckly the funeral director paid my fine at the court appearance!

Twice, when I was much younger. The traditional DWI, and common trespass (also while drunk).
I've learned to do my serious drinking at home.
