I ran a search and need more answers than I could find. I'm past Drive repair and diagnosis and am really just looking for some way to salvage my data.
My Macbook HD is basically dead. When I boot up I can hear a couple of clicks and then I get the folder with a question mark. When I boot up from the Install DVD Disk Utility does not see the drive. Same goes for booting in FW target mode - the computer I connect it to can see the DVD in the drive but no hard drive - disk warrior doesn't see it either.
So, is there any possible way to salvage the data. I'm planning on buying a $20 2.5" SATA enclosure so I can continue to work on the drive after I get a new replacement.
Thanks,
Josh
