Is this another example of that joking back and forth you and Dakar always have? Jesus man, sit a few plays out...or just admit you made a mistake calling Davis a coach.

------------

In an attempt to grow the NFL over the pond they held the annual game at Wembley, and for some reason decided that the NFL would be represented by the Dolphins and the Jets attempting to string together one decent possession without embarrassing themselves. Example via Deadspin:

In the fourth quarter of today’s embarrassment, the following sequence occurred as the Dolphins were driving, down 27-14, first-and-goal from the Jets 4-yard-line: Incomplete short pass right; incomplete short pass right; incomplete short pass left; incomplete short pass right, DEFENSIVE HOLDING, AUTOMATIC FIRST DOWN; short pass, touchdown! [Crowd cheers!] Touchdown called back on a rub call. [Crowd doesn’t stop cheering for the touchdown in time to boo/counter-cheer the not-touchdown] [Crowd still confused as next play begins]; short pass left (one yard, to the 11); incomplete short pass left; short pass right; interception by Darrelle Revis in the end zone as Jarvis Landry falls down, as a commentator draws a circle around an illegal formation before the play, and a flag after the play for arguing with the official. The Dolphins come away with no points, and the crowd is put into deep enough hibernation that two plays later, when a miraculous Dolphins fumble recovery is reversed on review, they barely muster a response.
Christ that's sloppy, sloppy enough that Miami coach Joe Philbin got canned early this morning, that's right, he got fired after 4 games, now that's impressive. By my count this season was the billionth time the AFC East was going to get its shit together and dethrone the Patriots... Superbowl 50 will be Green Bay vs Patriots.

In addition to DA (Devil's Advocate) maybe he needs to start labeling out posts FG (Funny Guy).

Nope.

Jesus man, sit a few plays out...or just admit you made a mistake calling Davis a coach.
or just admit I'm right, that figures in sports (coaches, managers, and even players) are all creatures of habit, even to the point of being superstitious about their routines.

No, it's actual concern. He seems like a rather negative person and attitude is important for survival when you have such a condition. See, I can like people while completely disagreeing with them, a concept that's alien to many. Some of the people I value most are my frenemies.

Cowboys fan eh? That was a hell of a game last night, of course if you guys had Romo and Dez the Saints would be staring down the barrel of 0-4.

I didn't even watch. I couldn't bear the thought of watching what could've been a pretty good team go down the crapper due to injuries.

And speaking of insuffurable, Saints fans are the worse. Huge inferiority complex.

Broncos 4-0, even w/ Peyton throwing like a 3rd-string high school benchwarmer.

Yeah, I noticed that as well. He was so happy to have several sponsors, while claiming that ESPN said they couldn't find any for the BS Report.

All of this adds credence to his paranoia while still with the company. I usually don't listen to the movie podcasts, but the first few minutes with Wesley Morris where they discussed the end of Bill's time with ESPN was pretty fascinating.

Paranoia? I imagine they did tell him they couldn't find him sponsors, and they were lying. They didn't want the podcast to have more sponsors – the real question would be why.

Wesley Morris is fantastic, regardless of what he's talking about.

Looking ahead in the Pats schedule, not a whole lot of worrying games.

@Cowboys - Win (No Dez/Romo)
@Colts - Win (lol)
Jets - 50/50 (Jets D looks good this year)
Dolphins - Win (Dolphins are a dumpster fire)
Redskins - Win (Redskins will have collapsed nicely by now)
Giants - Loss (Brady may be cursed by the Giants, only team with positive W/L against him....and two were SBs....)
Bills - Win (their best chance was at home, no way they win in Gillette)
@Broncos - 50/50 (Peyton may look like a noodle, but I'll never count him out)
Eagles - Win (the Eagles are horrendous this year)
@Texans - Win (JJ Watt does not a team make)
Titans - Win (obv.)
@Jets - 50/50 again
@Dolphins - Only way this is a loss is because the Pats are sitting starters as the 1st seed

12-4 at worst, 14-2 on the higher end of things (still giving losses to both Mannings) AFC goes through Foxboro again this year.

So this is what we are supposed to believe ...

1. That this Tesla you supposedly own even requires an emissions test when nearly all states exempt all-electric vehicles.

2. You actually had the test conducted in a freaking DMV office.

3. You came across someone who actually said some early 90's slang like "step off" in 2015.

Or alternatively ....

4. Once again you are simply engaging in ... how was
it put ... "your own special brand of self-aggrandizing horseshit"..

OAW

PS: You could have just manned up and admitted you were wrong about Mark Davis. But naturally that would have been too much like right.

Approximately half of US states even require an emissions test at all. Feel free to name the ones that don't exempt an all electric vehicle like a Tesla and I'll stand corrected. California certainly isn't one of them.

Well I could have sworn that you have indicated around here that you are from California? Which has some of the strictest emissions testing in the country? Right? In any event, how about those Cards?
