... not with vodka.

FFS, people need to calm down with bacon on/in/over/under/fused with other food-stuffs.

Ew.

And I thought bacon on pancakes with maple syrup was bad.

They got it backwards. Bacon infused with vodka sounds awesome.

You didn't mention firearms, so the bacon AK-47 is still kosher.

Also not convinced about bacon and maple syrup. Might just be because good bacon needs nothing else.
I have plenty of more important things to do, if only I could bring myself to do them....

It's sweet and salt. Direct multiple tastebud stimulation.

Along the same lines, bacon and dark chocolate is surprisingly good. You nail three out of four there.

I think you're mixing up your Elvis food.

1) Fried peanut butter and 'nanna sandwich, I believe on white.
2) Jar of peanut butter, jar of jelly, pound of bacon, in a hollowed out loaf of bread (also white).

Rye would be gross.

I like to keep sweet and savoury separate for the most part.
Sugar would simply diminish the taste of the bacon.

Now crispy bacon with stilton with a few fried mushrooms. Now you're talking.

It definitely works better with a tiny amount of bacon enhancing the other flavors.

If it's enough to make a strip, I'm totally with you. Why change it?

I understand why the Jews don't eat pork.

I mean, sure I eat it, but it feels dirty.

I'd expect that type of response from someone who makes such a delectable soup.
