When connecting through PPP, via the G4 modem, and after using an internet application such as IE or iTunes to access the internet, then quitting that application and attempting to disconnect is impossible as the machine takes over and attempts to reconnect everytime. Only a restart stops the visious cycle.

Anyone seen this?

Think I found the answer. Theres been a change since 9.0.4, it seems, in that when USB Printer sharing is enabled-mine is done via Airport- the system wont allow you to disconnect from the Net once you have actually used the connection, and not just connected and disconnected. Turning off USB printer sharing resolves the problem either way.

Looks like we have a bug.
