Just out of curiousity, what do you prefer.
I like my water with hops, malt, hops, yeast, and hops.

I'll eat most things. I decided to cut down on meat this semester and see how it goes as far as both health and saving money.

No eating other members!

Meat.
Only the live kind, though, and no chewing. Strictly lacto-ovo vegetarian, other than that. Well, almost strictly: I don’t actually check to see whether what I eat may contain rennin or rennet or whatever it is some vegetarians are so scared of accidentally ingesting.

So you're actually not a veggie at all then.

Mostly fish and chicken, and of course I love my veggies and fruits. I might eat red meat twice a year, and that's only because I'm at a party or picnic or some event where there's nothing else.

I put vegetarian mostly because I generally don't eat meat, at least red meat. Not because any preconceived notions of it being bad for you or I feel bad for the cows but rather I just don't care to eat it. I'll have fish and chicken from time to time, but I live mostly on a vegetarian diet.

That is sad, you are missing one of the great pleasures in life. Food is not the only thing, but it can be a wonderful thing.

And since you have to do it anyway, you should learn to enjoy eating a really fine meal once in a while.

Daily menu at the moment:
Breakfast:
Bowl of Cereal (with soy milk) or 2 Scrambled Eggs (only twice a week and going to substituted by egg whites soon)
Lunch:
Chicken Breast
Pasta with sauce or rice
Dinner:
Salad with mustard vinaigrettes
Chicken Breast
Pasta with sauce or rice
Snack:
Some dark chocolate (rarely at the moment)
Bowl of cereal

Sometimes i substitute the chicken breast with some chili (trying to find a good recipe for chili con pollo (thx to rumor) ) or some meat. I have really given up on red meat. May a steak month, but that is about it...

Con polio? Do you mean con pollo?

I'm not sure chili is a Spanish thing. I can't find any in my Puerto Rican cookbooks.

Well it is more a variant of the dish rather then a regional or specific one like the schnitzel.... where Wiener schnitzel is with veal, while schnitzel wiener art is with pork and there is a also a chicken schnitzel.

I consider myself vegetarian because I don’t eat meat of any kind. I don’t consider some enzyme from a cow’s stomach used to break down lactose (or whatever it does) to be meat, though, and I won’t be stopping eating cheese any time soon just because there’s usually rennet in cheese. I’m not sure if that qualifies me, by the strictest definitions, to be lacto-ovo vegetarian or not, but I don’t really care—I say I am, that’s all that matters.

Of course, while I have this opinion, it still annoys me greatly when people who eat fish and poultry call themselves vegetarians, and even more so when people whose only ‘abstinence’ is beef and pork (the ‘red meats’). I have a classmate who eats fish, poultry, and even veal—but still calls herself vegetarian.

Blah, blah, blah, big whoop. If you don't like 90% of food, then you're not actually missing anything.

I enjoyed 5 on my vacation. Doesn't mean I don't think it's a waste of time and money when I'm at home.

I'm with Dakar,

I eat only because I need to and to be honest I think that's the best attitude.

I wish I could agree with DH on the sleep thing, but I fade pretty quickly at night, but then I do wake up around 5:00am so I guess that balances out

I love Italian food. There's a little restaurant here that serves twice-baked lasagna, and it's unbelievable.

I'm also a big steak or chicken guy, but I've cut back my meat intake considerably.

Chinese food...good. Buffalo wings...good. Subway...goooooooood!

And probably my favorite food of all: cereal. At least one or two bowls a day.

My wife loves to cook, and for the last year or so, one of her hobbies is to try and come up with all sorts of good tasting vegan dishes and desserts.

Which is odd because both of us eat meat. She says that she just likes the challenge.

Don't ask me man, I just live here.

I love cooking and do most of the cooking at our house. We're cutting down on meat a lot and if we do eat it I try and make sure that it comes from a local, organic farm.

I love Indian and Italian vegetarian cuisine. But I also love a plate of meatballs. Home made of course, with veal, beef and pork. Some bread-crumbs, a little grated parmesan cheese, some chopped Italian parsley. Served in a sauce made from home grown tomatoes. Life doesn't get much better than that.

That second paragraph was a fine self-contained answer to the first. So nothing for me to say.

I love to eat, I love to cook. Just as long as it doesn't have eyes and pee, I'll eat it.
Mostly a Japanese diet, Italian too. My gf cooks the former, I do the latter.

I think the problem is people who don't eat red meat want to feel special somehow (god knows why) and since there isn't a special term for that they latch onto vegetarian.

In keeping with my true roots as an omnivore I eat anything that comes my way and doesn't have more than 6 legs (except Lobster)

I love veggies and fruit, but I would shrivel and die if I didn't eat at least one medium rare steak every two months.
