Right now you can't change the text color.
Check out www.chook.net/themeshop/ We will have the coolest theme editor around and some tutorials when we get time to write them.
Thanks,
Matthew

Couldn't have this been asked in the current running theme thread?
This forum is the worst forum I have ever seen that is like this.

What other forums are good for theming discussions? This is the only one I really ever read. And what ever happened to themexican? Wasn't he doing to really cool themes at the beginning? Ok, later.

And another thing - Matt, you might be excited about ThemeShop, but until it is in a state where people can use it, it's REALLY not a good idea to go promoting how easy it'll make themeing. You'll just get up people's noses, because they're asking how they can do it _now_, not in a years time.
And Sine, I agree: Damn straight, lazy people siht me Search through the archives you lazy bum!

Again, I was mainly promoting the site not ThemeShop. I guess I should hold the hype until its really justified

Ummm... okay... ignoring all of these insults...
You can edit the PPATs with Resorcerer. The PPATs are basically the patterns.
As for text colors, what I do is first edit an *old* 10.0 theme in Theminator. Make your changes to the pixmaps. And to the text colors like making them white... then save. Open a new 10.1 theme file and the 10.0 theme file you were working on in resedit. Paste the old 10.0's resources into the 10.1 theme file. Save. Open the 10.1 theme file in sprocket and continue from there.

"Insults"?? Dude, I love what matt is organising - hell, I've volunteered to create some themes to distribute with ThemeShop, but too much publicity before the release of a product is a BAD thing (Anyone remember Daikatana?)
The site does kick ass BTW
