How can I remove an Icon from the Dock? I ran SETI@Home for a few days but decided to stick with Ubero. Now I want to remove the S@H icon from my dock.

Also, Is there anyone out there who knows how to run the Ubero Agent as a Daemon, which is similar to a service in WinNT. It should run in the background with no screen output, even before log-on.

Thanx in advance,
-Rob

* sorry if you see this post more that once, im not sure if its taking, I still dont see it in the lineup.

After the application has been quit, just click and hold on it, and drag the icon off the dock, onto anywhere else on the screen. Then let go. You'll see a *poof* and it'll be gone.

This would be a good question to ask in the Team MacNN forum. I would recommend against using Ubero, though. The results aren't used for anything productive and the project has become quite stagnant. I would spend your processor time on something more useful (we've been doing pretty well in Folding@Home, lately, and are on the heels of some pesky PC using teams ).

Check out the team forum!
