Terminal, flushing the DNS issue

A web company recommended I use terminal with command
sudo killall -HUP mDNSResponder
which I get from this resource page
3. https://www.whatsmydns.net/flush-dns.html
But when I run it I get this with symbol of a key next to password.

You need to enter your password to run sudo commands.
|
The new Mac Pro has up to 30 MB of cache inside the processor itself. That's more than the HD in my first Mac. Somehow I'm still running out of space.

Nope. You can see it by checking log or the process number for that process, but not directly, no. No response means it worked.

What log? But you would not bother with a log? Perfect example of no news is good news?
