if you compare 2.0Ghz to 2.16Ghz what percentage of the speed increase?

2.16 รท 2.0 = 1.08 = 0.08 difference = 8%.

But since CPU speed isn't the only factor in system performance -- and all the other components stay the same -- a real-world boost of about 1/2 that, or 4%, is more realistic.
