Fujifilm is preparing to launch another retro-styled digital camera in the near future, if leaked images and a document are to be believed. A press release proclaiming the launch of the unannounced X-A1 mirrorless camera states that it will have a 16-megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor, with its general appearance mimicking that of the X-M1, launched in June.

With a wide dynamic range and sensitivity as high as ISO 25,600, the leather-clad X-A1 uses the EXR Processor II with a continuous shooting mode of 5.6 frames per second, a half-second boot time, and shutter lag of 0.05 seconds, according to Fotoskoda. Capable of accepting all A-mount lenses, it has a built-in flash, Wi-Fi, and a three-inch vari-angle LCD screen on the back.

Shown in blue, black, and red casings, the price of the X-A1 is not revealed, but if the press release is genuine, an official launch from Fujifilm could be happening soon. Given its specifications compared to the more-advanced X-M1, it is likely to sell for less than $700 for the body alone.

There is a typo in the headline. It should read, "Retro-styled Fujifilm X-A1 mirrorless camera photographs leaked".
Earth is Heaven in Drag.
