An old PC that the tech guy at work scrounged up for me.

The ScreenRecycler adds a "virtual" display to the Mac, which then gets displayed on the second monitor via a VNC client. It really works pretty seamlessly, just as though I had all three monitors directly attached to the Mac.

It's annoying, though, because VNC in Windows is slow. In Linux, the VNC is fast, but the &^@*&! graphics drivers crash the machine when I try to run in rotated (portrait) mode. So every few days I switch between the slow but vertical Windows, and the fast but sideways Linux.

It's a somewhat old picture, from last August, but everything is more or less the same.
