What? Your title mentions problems with Handbrake but your text is asking about battery draw. What do you need help with?

Yes, please clarify your question. The subject and actual content have nothing to do with each other.

I asked, and my ex hasn't noticed battery problems on her 3GS, but she's having other problems with it (the phone, not the OS), so she may not be paying attention to battery life.

I have a 3GS and the battery life isn't noticeably different. My wife also does and hasn't mentioned anything.

I have two 3GS'.
The 14 month old is averaging about 6-8 hours, the 6 month old, a day or so.
I do miss the battery life of the Blackberry - about 5 days.
