I wonder if the link problems are somehow related to the webkit update in the 9-7 security update (or if its a forums problem).
The link provided *looks* OK but has some extra crud at the end of .info (if you actually hover over the link or try to open it you'll see a "%94" has been appended to the ".info"). It appears that these forum links are now including hidden formatting characters. I just had the same problem clicking on a gorickey link in the lounge -- there were extra chars at the end. After I went in and backspaced thru the white space at the end of his link, it worked fine.
