Hi guys,
Im contemplating the BTO of a wireless mini keyboard with the imac.
What I need to know is how good is it?
How does it charge?
If it needs batteries (bad for environment) how long does it last?

It uses batteries (3 AA). Get yourself some rechargeables.

I have a wireless mini keyboard and it lasts three months on its batteries.

I think the environmental issues of using batteries just for some neatness doesn't warrant it.
What was it? For every one battery made it takes 5 times the power to make one.

Um, even if it were sealed like an iPod, it would still have a battery inside it - you just wouldn't be able to remove it as easily.
Get yourself some good rechargeable batteries and you're no less environmentally conscious than if Apple had built the rechargeable battery into the unit.
