Certainly this is a milestone. Only you and Cipher have the Clinically Insane status. To the rest of the forum members I say this: Love him or hate him, you simply can't ignore him. He's part of the fabric of the MacNN Forums. Zimph, this one's for you:

Heres to the crazy ones.

__The misfits.

____The rebels.

______The troublemakers.

________The round pegs in the square holes.

The ones who see things differently.

Theyre not fond of rules.

____ And they have no respect for the status quo.

You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them,

____ disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them.

About the only thing you cant do is ignore them.

______Because they change things.

_

They invent.____They imagine.____They heal.

__They explore.____They create.____They inspire.

____They push the human race forward.

Maybe they have to be crazy.

How else can you stare at an empty canvas and see a work of art?
Or sit in silence and hear a song thats never been written?
Or gaze at a red planet and see a laboratory on wheels?

We make tools for these kinds of people.

_

While some see them as the crazy ones,
___we see genius.

Because the people who are crazy enough to think
they can change the world, are the ones who do

Zimphire's new title after going 'Clinically Insane'
should be 'The Postman'
Known for being opinionated, delivering bad news,
working unsocial hours and going nuts with a gun
at the Golden Arches.

Ok, it seems everybody has Dimphire on ignore. Good.

Granted, it makes threads quite unreadable, specially since everybody seems unable to control the urge to reply to posts they can't even read. Ok, good enough, i'll learn not to revisit those threads...

But is it really freaking necessary to devote entire threads to the dimwit? Seems i'm quite ready to participate in the "crazy things you did" thread with the crazy bit being simply being here.

duh...

Personally I enjoy Zimphire's insights. I find his replies to FUD to be informative.

He is rarely proven wrong.

You may not agree with his faith, but you have to respect him for his firm defense of it.

Congrats on your ability to post so often and yet in the face of attack keep the good fight strong Zimp.

No, that is not what I said at all. I feel a little like Zimphire here.

I think this is what most people, including Zimphire, might find so frustrating on here. A person's ability to twist what someone says into a perceived attack. I guess people just read into something what they want, not what the author intended.

What I said was: "You may not agree with his faith, but you have to respect him for his firm defense of it."

I never said anything about derailing threads.

I will say this though, that people rarely prove him wrong. They usually just have a different opinion than he does and therefore attack him for his opinion.

If you think Zimphire is a nice little innocent boy, you're wrong.

He tend to have a fixed opinion on anything that is not respected by Bible. He's very skilled at covering up his mistakes. Zimphire have attacked several other posters in the past (Zimphire, please don't try to deny that it ever happened. You know damn well that you did it before)

BTW, you said that he should be strong with his fighting.. May I ask whom he is fighting against? Demons that don't have self-control?

Get a clue. He was just making a sarcastic comment, not implying that you were actually saying that.

And thinking back I can't remember one thread where he said anything that wasn't an opinion. Kind of hard to prove opinions wrong, don'tyaknow.

Funny, the same post can be used again with just a single line changed.

Changes in BOLD

I am sorry. I guess I just didn't catch the sarcasm. To use a Zimphirism "how silly".

All encompassing statements are rarely proven true. To state Zimphire hasn't posted a fact and that everything he posts is his opinion is quite ignorant.

You are correct that opinions are hard to prove wrong.

opinion __ (_P_)__Pronunciation Key__(-pnyn)

1. A belief or conclusion held with confidence but not substantiated by positive knowledge or proof: The world is not run by thought, nor by imagination, but by opinion (Elizabeth Drew).

2. A judgment based on special knowledge and given by an expert: a medical opinion.

3. A judgment or estimation of the merit of a person or thing: has a low opinion of braggarts.

4. The prevailing view: public opinion.

5. Law. A formal statement by a court or other adjudicative body of the legal reasons and principles for the conclusions of the court.

Does anyone else think that Zimphire needs his own set of different stars?

Everytime I read one of his posts, I initially think it's Cipher posting because I see the stars in the corner of my eye. Then I see the content is complete crap and relaize it's Zimphire.

Perhaps some of the creative types could create appropriate stars for him. Adam? I know you could do something fitting...

I completely agree... except for the exact opposite reasons. Zimphire should have different stars than cipher. The few times I have seen Zimph's stars I thought it was cipher's inane filled posting.

congratualtions nothing

he is ultimately the largest timewaster this board has every seen. He has been here for only 14 to 15 months and in that time he has managed to post 10,000 repetitive pieces of $hite.

He is also one of the most evil, hateful and manipulative persons that ever joined MacNN. And he gets obvious pleasure from it all.

He vilifies gays on a weekly basis and (I can only assume) through his supposedly religious intent is he allowed to get away with it.

[/rant]

as for his stars - Cipher earned his through being extremely helpful and understanding - Zimp got his through 10,000 +1 posts - nothing special in that at all
this sig intentionally left blank
