There should be 15 minute intervals where they vote on pay raise.

6:30 pm - Relevant democrats finally realize that Hillary is trying to sabotage Obama's campaign.

7:00 pm - Hear arguments from the Sierra Club that dead trees from the Yellowstone fire of 1988 should not be removed because it would threaten the lively hood of Japanese beetles.

I saw that. I was actually thinking about making a separate thread. I can't believe the flags were thrown in the trash.

or they were lied to. Great source BTW, The Huffing on Compost. I'll link rebuttals from Ann Coulter or Michelle Malkin. If they were storing them, why put them in garbage bags. They sell storage bins at Office Max and Staples. Next time they should use this.

Yeah, they should have given all of those flags to homeless people or to the starving children in Africa.

Yeah, jesus, if they were actually throwing them in the garbage, do you think they would have carefully rolled them up like that?

It's astonishing that we are in a severe debt crisis of massive proportion, amidst two wars, an energy crisis, etc. etc. etc. and we are talking about pregnant daughters, rolled up American flags, lapel pins, evoking red scare/fear of socialism, how living close to Canada and Russia gives you foreign experience, etc.

When you step back and look at the whole thing, it sure looks retarded, and I do include the players on both sides and media.

Dude- you're original post quoted a blog from a right-wing muckraker's blog. If this had made the NYT, WSJ, CNN, or even Fox i'm sure an equally reputable source would have responded. As is it was just some hack from the Denver post, not much more is required.

Like I said, if storage bins were uses instead of bags this would not be an issue to begin with.

They should have disposed of them in the respectful and dignified manner: by burning them.

I think both sides are lying. And I don't care, because we have more important things to argue about.
