Mozilla 1.8 bug? [Firefox 1.5, SeaMonkey, etc]

Hello,
I've came across a bit of an oddity in Mozilla 1.8 [Firefox 1.5 RC1/RC2/RC3] concerning form select widgets.
I've put together a test case demonstrating the issue. However, I've only been able to test OS X Mozilla 1.8 based products, which the issue shows up in every single one [aside from Camino 1.0b1, which does not use the Gecko form select widget].
Is there anyone here who has a PC with Firefox 1.5 and wouldn't mind checking if the issue is present on the PC version as well?

Worked fine with Win Firefox 1.0.7, just downloaded 1.5, and could see no problem there either.

Same here, I don't see the problem in Firefox 1.5 RC3.
