Under OSX, I have been using the Apple Mail app. The app has stopped working since (I think) a network connection error happened.

Since then, when I launch Mail, it bounces a couple of times and that's it. Nothing else happens.

I have since checked the disks, updated the system to 10.0.4... to no avail.

No word on the knowledge base on how to remove or re-install Mail.

What I DON'T want to do is a full re-install of OS X, since I have tons of software already configured on the machine.

Thanks for your help.

PS: the system is a powerbook G4
