This is windows xp home edition, Not a copy, The real deal. It comes with the original serial number which was never used. It comes with SP1, Let me know, It goes for 200 at best buy

I guess I can do 110?

I think what skalie means is you are probably better off not having SP2. My system seems to have slowed down since I installed it and I have talked to a few people who feel the same way. Good luck with the sale.

I believe what he means by that is you're only going to encounter Mac users here, who usually arn't in great demand for the product you are selling.

I wasn't trying to argue and I wasn't complaining that you were posting a classified for ms windows.

My point was your selling an MS product on an apple forum (yes its allowed) but really how many people here will want to buy it.

Know your audience/customers. You'll probably get further in a windows discussion forum or on ebay. While many of us use windows at work and some at home, clearly Macs are so superior we (at least I) wouldn't want to spend a lot of money on winblows.

That whole activation thing reeks biscuts too but thats a discussion for another day.

[edit] this just occurred to me, imagine the flaming you would get for posting a for sale for your dual gig, or powerbook on a dell discussion forum. These responses are quite tame in comparison to the derision you would get.
