Stupid flash drive files won't allowed to be trashed!

so i installed a usb "flash drive" in my keyboard and for some reason dragged out the files in them to my desktop... the copied over and now they're sitting on my desktop w/ a lock on them.
AND NOW I CAN'T DRAG THEM INTO THE TRASH!

it's telling me a i do not have enough priveleges.... booshid!
what happened?
i t's 3 files.
one is a quicktime ad from kenneth cole
the other is pdf magazine
and the other is a plain "white sheet of paper" file.

i wan't these out of my life. help unlock this mystery.

Get Info on the files, uncheck the "Locked" box, delete. BTW I don't think "installing" a USB flash drive is the right term, more like you mounted it.

I was so caught up in the heat of the moment.... i meant to say "mount".. what a boner!
