I made a new iconset to update the look and feel of the default OSX icons. I tried to stick close to the existing metaphors and there are were some I didn't redo, like the hard drives and documents, since I think they are pretty good already.

Also included are some badge-like versions for the folders that show up in the finder's side bar, it's kind of nice to have all those match each other and makes finding a folder much easier. And there's a blank one in there as well if you want to make your own.

Amazing icon set, from what I've seen in the iconfactory preview.
I'm downloading it now!!!!

Edit: I'm using them now, and I can say it's the best iconset I've seen in the last few years. I love it.
I hope you'll do some more icons (apps, and major file types) in this same style. It's simply brilliant!

WOW. VERY nice icon set. Fits in perfectly with my current setup. Any chance of more icons of this style coming? You know, just misc. icons like PDF, etc...

Just adore these! Check out Mandolux.com for a desktop image inspired by the set.

I wish there were more ways to feature icons on my laptop, they are so pleasing to see!

Very nice. My only complaint is that the text on the DVDs (-RW, RAM, etc) is too small to be useful.

Hey Guys. Does anyone know an easy way to replace ALL default folders with one of these new icons? I'm a fairly new Mac guy.

Thanks!

Congratulations David, your work is outstanding. Thanks for providing us such nice icons. I am sporadically changing my sets since Minium, but I think Agua will be used several months
