Takashi Izawa's new theme "Makki-X 1.0" is released.

here : http://www.desktopper.net/izawa/

He is planning on making "Graphite version" of this theme.

He's way to talented

To get it to work with Duality, show package contents on the .theme file and open the Info.plist with Text Edit. Locate:

<dict>
<key>Name</key>
<string>Finder (finder/Japanese.lproj/Localized.rsrc)</string>
<key>editable</key>
<false/>
<key>name</key>
<string>Makki_X1.0.theme/Japanese.lproj/Localized.rsrc</string>
<key>prospectivePath</key>
<string>/System/Library/CoreServices/Finder.app/Contents/Resources/Japanese.lproj/Localized.rsrc</string>
</dict>

Delete that part and save it. Switch themes with Duality.

True the guy is talented, but jeez!! And people were complaining about aqua messing with one's ability to accurately work with color. I'm sticking with aqua (though i used alumite X for quite a while).

I think i could handle this a little better if there was away to change the column view background to something other than white. Has anyone looked into how to change that resource or where it is?

All that yellow doesn't make you agressive, does it?

Well he's working on a graphite version of it, that might be a nice option for those of you who dislike colors.

Nice... I new this theme would be hot, but I thought the color would be too much. I installed it and took it for a test run, and it turns out that this baby is very useable. Man, this is unbelieveable...

That theme sorta reminds me of the Onyx scheme for Kaleidoscope. Would be cool if someone were to port it.

I am the opposite of one poster above; I thought I'd love this theme, but for me the yellow is TOO much! Maybe if it had dark buttons and scroll arrows or something but geez... it's SOLID yellow almost! It clashes with half of my constantly rotating background pictures.

I love the U.S., but we need some time apart.

Arugh, too darn yellow. I prefer subdued, subtle themes.

It came with Kaleidoscope. Don't tell me you've never used that...
