I doubt it's been ported.

Anyway, you could probably make something similar (and even a bit cooler) if you meshed together Swiz's Pearl and ChosenOS themes... (Since that's what it sort of looks like)

I actually see more of my Cappuccino themes look in that theme than the others.

That theme looks nice but I'm not sure if it will look great with OS X's shadow.

Now that i look at it, Cappuccino does look very similar to it. The one thing I think it could use is a themed brushed metal look. Otherwise I like it alot better then Orbital.

I'd love to have that theme ported to Mac OS X. Cappucino is nice, but it's a different concept.

I could do a variant on Cappuccino like this. But that begins tredging the waters of "copying"...

The creator of the Windows Theme is also a Mac fan and probably would be happy to allow a port....I shall inquire.

My only worries are regarding the nice rounded window borders which OSX cant replicate. That will just be one of those sacrifices I suppose. Im game, the Studio Pro re-release is out the door, I've got a few things in the works but the demand for this seems worthwhile. I'l be leaving for vacation monday for the week. Lots of screenies will be mega helpful, or if the author has psd's that would be fabulous. At any rate, it'll happen.

Thats sounds great dj; perhaps you could use your masterful skills to whip out a rad desktop pic for the theme too .

Oh man! I'm so excited about this release.

Suggestion: Remember the brushed appearance for Meteora? Well, I realize it was never released but it demonstrated the perfect brushed variant IMHO. Instead of changing the way brushed appears, just do a hue-shift. It makes for a really nice UI.

Also, in keeping with the tradition of the original theme, including that red'ish hue present throughout the theme would be nice. It makes for such a nice color accent, it's perfect.

I got permission from Hermik for the theme but I wanted to get him to make the 128's or at least give me the original blank psd file so we could complete the icons for X...

But of course Swiz. I will load up the msstyle at work and get some resources together. If I run into a snag with the "magic pink" associated with windows transparency then I will get psd's from Fatcat and IoriQ....

And this is why I love the mac community over the windows ones!

You guys took this in such an organized and controlled manner. Had
it been the other way around it would have been real sloppy. I hope
to one day afford the privilage of using a mac.

Cool, sent you an email(s I sent you some photos too) It's a Sage iMacG3 I'm selling with Jag. I've been having a hard time finding someone with money, I get lots of people who say they'd love to buy it if they had money.
Maybe you'll be able to help build the Mac port of Orbital if you buy it.

Swiz is also working on a swis style of power metal. I wonder if he's gotten too many themes going at once?

Yeah its sortof like that. Heres the dealio:
My wedding is two weeks away after which I'll be in Maui for two weeks. Currently I am working my ass off on the Swiz version of Power Metal. It'll probably be out before I leave for the honeymoon but I cant guarantee it because Im assuring this theme will blow my others out of the water on all levels. Orbital is next on the todo list. All will be done but just not really soon.

Hey swiz, just a ? for ya.

On your cap theme, why is the finder bar a greyish color and the rest of the theme brownish. I loved this theme but that kept me from using it, i have an eye for color and it just looks very strange. Was there a reason for this?

Designers/Porters... One thing to keep in mind, please, is something I noticed that makes Cappuccino a deal-breaker for me.

Applications that use the medium and the smallest widgets* don't draw right, because the Cappuccino widgets are too big. Since these widgets look identical, I'm thinking you might face a similar problem here.

*For example, Microsoft Word's toolbars (micro-widget) and formatting pallete (medium widget).

I honestly dont remember, its been a long time since I did that theme and It wasnt the most concentrated effort. As I get into Orbital I will be rethinking some Cap stuff.
