Just tried to watch something in QT, and it keeps stalling and saying that it can't contact my bluetooth headset. I have everything set to use the speakers/mic internally, vlc plays correctly and even the qt preferences are set to automatic.

I can't get it to play through the internal speakers and it's driving me nuts.

Any idea where I can look for another setting to stop this, or should I just uninstall everything QT related and start again.

MBP with all the latest updates.

Cheers,

J.

What are your settings in System Preferences>Sound>Input and Output? Do you have your bluetooth headset selected there at all?

Nope, checked that, have internal mic and headphones selected. Checked in QT itself and that's set to automatic.

Try running GarageBand and then exiting. Seems to fix it for me...
