http://sourceforge.net/projects/soulseekx/ is way too non-functional.

Anybody know of a better Soul Seek client for mac? It is, BY FAR, the best music trading p2p but mac users can't take advantage of it.

Agreed, but if you have a fast enough Mac (like me) running it in VPC 6 is actually tolerable.

I heard about a cocoa project named "Soleseek" or something but thats quiet now it seems

Yeah... both are VERY rarely updated. SoulSeekX has potential... its just frustrating that I hear how great SoulSeek is all the time and I can't try it.

Use pyslsk. It's the best one. Full of features. Runs in X11 w/ Fink now (doesn't require wxPythonOSX or MacPython anymore).

Yes it does.

Finally us Jaguar users can use pyslsk again the proper and functional X11 way.

(the last time wxpython was spotted in the fink tree was in the 10.1.x days... boy was I overjoyed to find it sitting around after my latest selfupdate-cvs ... big upz the fink project!)

Yo. If you have the time, pretend I'm a retarded five year old and explain EVERYTHING about how to get this up and running.
