On restarting my iBook, I was surprised that I wasn't asked for the admin. password...It simply opened directly to the desktop. What happened?
I only have 1 account on this computer and nobody else used it in the meantime.

Yes, I did cecked out and "Automatically log in as:" is on and my account as well?

What do you mean "What else can it be?" You just saw what it is. It automatically logs in as you.
